Are tours public group-based or private?
Unlike many operators, every tour we offer is strictly private and bespoke. We do not run public group tours. This allows our expert guides to tailor the pace, depth, and route entirely to your group's wishes, ensuring a high-end, personalized experience.
Where do we meet for our private walking tour?
For your convenience, your guide can meet you directly in your Dublin City Centre accommodation. Alternatively we can also start at a specific landmark of your choice, such as Trinity College or Dublin Castle, to best suit your day’s schedule.
Are tours suitable for seniors or those with limited mobility?
Absolutely. Because our tours are 100% private, the pace is set entirely by you. We can include more frequent breaks at historic cafes or pubs and adjust the route to avoid cobblestones or steps where necessary. Your comfort is our priority.
Can I customize my itinerary?
Yes! All our tours are built to the client's wishes. Please use the contact form to get in touch and begin planning your Dublin adventure.
Who leads the tours at Experience Dublin Tours?
All tours are led by expert guides with years of experience. The founder and primary guide, Adam Ladd, holds an Honours degree in History and Politics and a Masters in Irish History. Adam lectures and trains guides to national accreditation standards, ensuring the highest level of historical accuracy.
How can I maximize a short visit to Dublin?
Our 5-hour Premium Private Tour is specifically designed for visitors with limited time. Led by expert historians with over a decade of experience, this custom-made itinerary covers major landmarks like Trinity College and Dublin Castle while weaving in hidden gems based on your personal interests.
Where near to Dublin can I find beautiful scenery?
We offer a Howth Hiking Tour which combines a scenic coastal trek with local history. While most of our tours are based in Dublin City Centre, this experience takes you to the stunning cliffs of Howth, led by a guide who knows both the terrain and the folklore of the area.
Do you cater to educational or university groups?
All our guides hold academic qualifications and we frequently work with university groups, study abroad programs, and academic institutions. Currently we work with University College Dublin (UCD), IE University Madrid and a range of North American institutions such as Northeastern, William and Mary, and Michigan State - just to name a few. Each tour is bespoke, allowing us to align the route with your specific curriculum whether it's the 1916 Rising, Irish Literature, Women's History or Modern Ireland social and political changes.
